What are they?
In 2008 the number of home repossessions in Spain soared to unprecedented levels according to the figures of the Bank of Spain. Conservative sources estimated the figure to be well over 250,000 repossessions since the real estate market collapsed. The real number may actually be higher.
Since the crash, this number has been reducing year on year with some banks offering higher loan value mortgages on their repossessed properties in order to make them more attractive to potential buyers.
Whilst 100% mortgages are no longer available, with some banks, we are still able to secure a higher loan to value on selected properties and there are some fantastic investments opportunities available.
At John Edwards, we have access to thousands of repossessed properties in Denia and throughout the whole of Spain. Please get in touch today if you would like more information on the properties currently available and properties that may becoming available in the near future.
